Become an Expert

IAIBH provides multimedia, self-paced online certification trainings to help you further your career or start a new chapter.  Unlike many other certification boards, we do not require that you have a bachelor's or master's degree.  Intensive task-specific education, real-world (internship) experiences and successful completion of a comprehensive exam are all that is required to earn your certification.  To maintain it, you are required to do a minimum amount of field work (can be volunteer), acquire at least 8 CEUs and comply with IAIHP ethical guidelines..

Learn by Doing

Internship/real world experiences are an essential component of training to ensure you are able to translate what you have learned into practice.

Students are required to provide evidence of at least 500 hours of real world, supervised experience and completion of 3 case studies prior to earning their certification.  Additionally, once certified, certificants are required to engage in at least 40 hours of certification specific field work (paid or volunteer) each year .

Build Your Resume

Certifications and Master Classes show employers you have advanced skills and training.   Academic training for all of our certifications can be completed at your own pace using the online, multimedia training resources.

Achieve Your Goals

Traditional approaches to addressing behavioral health issues often fail to help people reach their recovery goals.  Integrative Behavioral Health practitioners recognize that symptoms can be caused by a variety of physiological, psychological and environmental factors.
